The main priority of our sport camp programs is the health, safety and well-being of our participants, student-athletes, coaches, and staff. 

All potential applicants to our youth residential programs are encouraged to regularly check our updated information and expectations, which may be subject to change.

Elite Day Camp

August 9

Grades 8 and up

The Penn State Elite Day Camp offers the highest quality of instruction for students to become familiar with the elite rules, proper progression, and different positions for Coed and All-Girl stunting, two and a half high pyramiding, basket toss instruction, Penn State fight song instruction, and overall game day situational training. The camp will also provide a discussion regarding college try-outs and what it takes to be a part of the Penn State Cheerleading team. Camp participants will be stunting with experienced stunt instructors. Teams of four and individuals need to understand elite spinning and inversion techniques. Teams, as well as individuals, will be taught stunting skills beginning with twisting and flipping skills.

Teams of four: Each stunt group requires a minimum of 4 participants consisting of two bases, flyer, and back spot.

 The Elite Day Camp is limited to 50 participants, so sign up early.

  • Coed – 20 participants
  • All Girls – 30 participants


Fee: $250 (includes instruction, camp shirt, lunch, no housing)
***DAY CAMP ONLY /NO HOUSING 

Meal: Lunch will be provided. Please notify us of any food allergies. Bring a water bottle to refill during camp. Water will be provided.

When:  

August 9 -- 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Location: Multi- Sport Facility 
Camps will be conducted at the Multi-Sport Facility, which is located off Dauer and Porter Roads. In case of inclement weather, you will be contacted by e-mail concerning any changes or cancellation.

What to Bring for Camp
Participants should bring cheerleading shoes and appropriate workout clothing. Leave rings, jewelry, and valuables at home. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own water bottle. Water will be available.
