The Penn State Athletic Performance Department is committed to providing the highest level of athletic preparation for all student-athletes. Our primary goal is to maximize the physical and mental potential of each individual student-athlete throughout their collegiate career at Penn State.
  • 360-degree holistically driven, sport specific strength and power development training for each student athlete.
  • State of the art weight room facilities outfitted with latest technology for individual assessments and velocity-based training techniques to tailor and pinpoint training based on time of season, individual developmental needs and return to play protocols.
  • Penn State Athletic Performance – Olympic sports consisted of 14 full time strength and conditioning professionals that are certified by Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCCa) and/or the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA).
  • Athletic Performance Coaches have access to multiple indoor and outdoor athletic movement training venues to support student athletes development in speed, agility, plyometrics and fitness abilities.
